Education is the foundation of social transformation. With the generous support of Dr. Chitranjanbhai Patel (USA)& other philanthropist, Sardardham launched this scholarship programme to ensure that no deserving student is deprived of higher education due to financial constraints.

Managed and administered by Sardardham, the scheme provides financial assistance to meritorious and economically deserving students from all castes and communities across Gujarat through a transparent and merit-based selection process.

Inspired by its growing impact, several philanthropists and donors have joined hands with Sardardham, enabling the programme to support an increasing number of students every year.

WHO CAN APPLY

Eligibility & Scope

Dr. Chitranjanbhai Patel (USA) Higher Education Assistance Scheme supports meritorious and economically deserving students from all communities across Gujarat who are pursuing higher and professional education.

​​​​​​​Passed Standard 12 (HSC)

Students who have successfully completed Higher Secondary Education in cirrent education year and are pursuing higher studies.

Professional Degree Courses

Medical, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, CA, IT, Management, Science, Research and other recognized professional programmes.

Economically Deserving

Applicants should satisfy the financial eligibility criteria prescribed under the scholarship guidelines.

Merit-Based Selection

Scholarships are awarded through a transparent evaluation based on academic merit and eligibility.

Students Across Gujarat

Open to eligible students belonging to all castes and communities residing in Gujarat.

Online Application

Applications are accepted exclusively through the online scholarship portal during the announced application period.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Application to Disbursement

A simple, transparent, and merit-based process designed to ensure that Higher Education Assistance reaches the most deserving students.

Online Application

Submit your scholarship application through the online portal within the announced application period. Complete all required details and upload the necessary documents.

Application Review

The Scholarship Committee reviews each application to verify eligibility, academic records, income details, and supporting documents.

Merit Evaluation

Eligible applications are evaluated according to the scheme's approved guidelines, and a merit list is prepared through a fair and transparent process.

Selection & Notification

Selected students are informed through WhatsApp, Email, or the Scholarship Portal with instructions for the next stage.

Document Verification

Selected applicants must visit Sardardham with their original documents for physical verification. Scholarship approval is finalized after successful verification.

Scholarship Disbursement

Selected students and their parents are invited to Sardardham's Scholarship Distribution Ceremony, where scholarship assistance is awarded in the presence of philanthropists, trustees, and distinguished guests.

Scholarship support questions

Students shortlisted for scholarship will be informed for document verification on or before 14 August 2026.

Click on Forgot Password on the Student Login page. An OTP/password will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Students from any caste/community in Gujarat who are economically weaker and meritorious can apply.

You must:

  • Have passed Class 12 in 2026.
  • Have secured 80% or above in Class 12.
  • Be seeking admission in higher education.

Students taking admission in:

  • Medical - Engineering - Pharmacy
  • Architecture  - IIT - 
  • B.Sc.
  • Other recognized higher education courses after Class 12

are eligible to apply.

Yes. If your admission process is still ongoing, you may apply by selecting the course you intend to join. If selected, you must submit your college admission proof and fee receipt during document verification.

Yes. This scholarship is open to students belonging to all communities and castes of Gujarat.

The annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000.

You can upload either:

  • Competent Authority Income Certificate, or
  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)

No. Only one student per family is eligible

No. Submission of the application does not guarantee scholarship approval. Applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee based on eligibility and verification.

  • Admission Letter (if available)
  • College Fee Receipt
  • Income Certificate / ITR
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Bank Passbook
  • Passport-size Photograph

Applications are shortlisted based on:

Eligible candidates will receive notification through the registered Mobile Number, WhatsApp, Email, or Scholarship Portal.

The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the student's bank account or paid through cheque. No cash payment will be made.

If no communication is received by 30 August 2026, it should be considered that the application has not been approved.

Yes. Students selected for the scholarship must submit the prescribed Affidavit provided by Sardardham.
